We’re updating Beefree’s infrastructure to utilize a multi-region approach. Going forward, Beefree SDK will be deployed in two separate AWS regions—specifically in Dublin, Ireland, and Frankfurt, Germany. This update provides failover capabilities should we ever experience issues in a single geolocation, helping us further reduce the risk of downtime for you and your end users.
This behind-the-scenes change will not impact how you use the Beefree SDK in your day-to-day integration, but requires a maintenance window to migrate to the new and improved infrastructure. We’ve scheduled this maintenance for Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 9 am-11 am EST (that’s 3 pm-5 pm CET).
Please be aware that you and your end users might experience some degraded performance during the maintenance window. There’s a chance that the editors might be unavailable for a short period. Your customers might also experience intermittent issues with filesystems, AddOns, or row management. The editors might be unavailable, and while we’ve scheduled a 2-hour maintenance window, we don’t expect any downtime to be more than a few minutes.
⚠️Action may be required: Allowlist new IPs If your integration with the Beefree SDK relies on allow-listing our IPs, you’ll want to ensure our new IP addresses are added to the list, too. Here’s a list of our IP addresses:
Ireland (These are the IPs we already use today. We will keep using them going forward.): 54.78.90.148 and 52.16.171.98
Germany (New IPs we’ll start using on March 8.): 52.58.39.32 and 18.158.188.143
